Cape Business Online is a marketing agency supporting businesses across South Africa for their digital marketing requirements.  We are market leaders in Search Engine Optimization, seeking to recruit a Social Media Coordinator.

This role is based at our office in The Vineyards Office Estate, Bellville. We do not offer remote or hybrid working arrangements for our team.

Our Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the development of successful social media campaigns, with emphasis on Meta platforms.  Your role will require collaboration with the SEO team and clients to create content for campaigns that serve both the needs of our clients and are developed with reference to insights extracted through our SEO processes and through Meta. You will work closely with a team of designers, who own the visual storytelling of campaigns.

Our ideal candidate is a university graduate, with 3-5 years of experience in an agency environment in a similar role.

The role
  • Liaison with social media clients
  • Content planning for social media campaigns
  • Content creation according to approved plans
  • Scheduling of approved content and visuals
  • Creating and managing ad campaigns
  • Keeping up to date with developments in Meta
Professional competencies
  • Relevant tertiary education
  • 3-5 Years experience in social media
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
