Data Lead
Cape Business Online is a marketing agency supporting businesses across South Africa for their digital marketing requirements. We are market leaders in Search Engine Optimization, seeking to recruit a Data Lead.
This role is based at our office in The Vineyards Office Estate, Bellville. We do not offer remote or hybrid working arrangements for our team.
If you have a passion for Excel, are administratively organized and enjoy extracting insights from data, then we would like to hear from you. You will be joining an astute digital marketing team, working alongside the SEO Strategist and Lead in our business. Our ideal candidate is a university graduate, but we will consider candidates without a university degree, qualified by experience in Excel.

The role
- Daily/weekly/monthly extraction of all SEO project data
- Administration of project data
- Assistance with other digital marketing tasks as required

- Comfortable with Excel to an intermediate/advanced level
- Ability to identify data trends
- Ability to troubleshoot Excel problems
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task
- Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points

Your qualifications and experience include
- BComm Degree (or similar)
- Understanding of digital marketing
